I have stuck to your plan, haven't found it hard and good variety of meals. Do your 3 days of exercises plus one extra night with a personal training group. Have also been out for dinner for 2 birthdays including cake (and pizza on one night) and still kept losing. Really happy with the results and know that I will easily be able to maintain this once the 10 weeks is up.
