Hi Barbara, I too have done most diets or gyms however the difference with KISS is that it is holistic. It's not just diet, it's not just exercise, it's not just encouragement and support and it's focus is not just health or naturopathy. Instead, this program combines all these elements to create a complete and utter healthy lifestyle. At the beginning of the 10 weeks I found it harder because I opted to withdraw totally from caffeine and sugars. That was tough for someone who's life was filled with carbs and ritual cups of tea. I actually fell asleep in the bath on the second night because I was totally wiped out - incredible the effects carbs and caffeine have on the human body. But the next day I was better and my energy levels kept improving. I have a family member who is very fit who said two words that made all the difference for me and that was simply, "stay focused". Staying focused is the key for me and because the program is only 10 weeks and not a weight goal such as losing 5% or 10 kilos etc. makes the difference. The psychology behind the program worked beautifully for me. You have to be motivated for only 10 weeks. However, it has made me motivated to continue onto K2. The results are incredible and nothing like anything I've done before. Lisa has been there for me on Facebook and is an incredible support as too are the Facebook KISS community. My husband and my son have trained with me at times and my family and friends have been very supportive too. I hope this helps.
