Well it's been awhile coming and I've looked at different options but nothing really grabbed me, nothing jumped out; mainly nothing inspired me.

I don't know how I came across the Lisa Curry 10 week KISS club, all I know is how much sense it made, how logical it sounded and it just seemed like the one for me. This inspired me.

Like some many people I've put on weight, lost weight and been riding that vicious merry go round for years. It can take many years to work out that putting yourself and your own health first IS putting your family first as well.

Anyway by the time I found the KISS plan I was at my heaviest I had ever been, sick of buying a new fat clothes, sick of not fitting into my clothes, sick of struggling to do every day things. October 2012 I ended up with my right foot having ligament damage (plantar fascia) and being so overweight did nothing to help the recovery. In fact I think it took about 8 months to be able to walk without being in constant pain.

Over the 10 weeks of K1 I have managed to loose and kiss good bye to 12.6 kg, get back into running, feel so much more energetic , and just have such a feeling of well being.

I must say I didn't follow the plan 100% to the letter as I don't eat a lot of the proteins on the menu, but was able to swap. The recipes were amazing and opened my eyes to so many different options. Love the zucchini slice, love the variety of a rainbow salad, love the cheese on cucumber...love,love, love!

I still need and want to loose another 15-20kg and on Lisa's advise I'm signing up for K2 for the exercise component but following the K1 menu plan. This will get me to where I need to be.

I'm really enjoying this journey and am looking forward to this next 10 weeks....I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
